The Spirit of God comes upon Saul; he prophesies

Samuel foretells the sign; God gives Saul another heart, the Spirit comes upon him, and Saul prophesies among the company of prophets. The event belongs to the same accession setting as his anointing.

1 Samuel 10:6, 9–12 · KJV
And the Spirit of the LORD will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man. And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, God gave him another heart: and all those signs came to pass that day.
Parallel Scripture · 1 Samuel 19:20–24

Saul later prophesies again at Naioth when the Spirit of God comes upon him. Scripture records that later occasion but supplies no separate numbered year for it.
