A quick visitor’s guide
Open the evidence, follow the years, compare the texts, and move from a timeline event into the passages and studies connected with it.
The two-tier header
Use the upper tier for Bibles, Maps, Places, Studies, and the complete Timeline menu.
Use the lower tier for How to Navigate, FAQ, Language, Listen, and the light or dark reading display.
Select the Living Bible Timeline name or gold star at the left of the header to return to the homepage.
Timeline and study pages
Select a person, event, or lifespan bar to open its details and connected Scripture.
With a mouse, hover over a Scripture reference to preview its KJV wording. On a phone or tablet, tap the reference.
Select a map marker for its route evidence, or open Places to follow one location through Scripture, people, events, studies, and on-site dictionaries.
Readers and comparisons
The KJV remains the primary Bible text. Other Bible translations are clearly named, while Jasher, Maccabees, early Christian writings, dictionaries, and commentaries remain labeled as historical or reference material.
Choose a second Bible version to place it beside the KJV. You can also select a commentary, which will open below the side-by-side Bibles while both Scripture texts remain visible.
Choose a language after opening the material you want translated. Newly loaded text may require choosing the language again.
Settled, approximate, Jasher, historical, and under-review labels show what kind of evidence supports each statement.
Audio accessibility
Select Listen in the page header to have your phone or computer read the visible study material aloud. The device supplies the available voices; Living Bible Timeline supplies the controls and skips the site navigation.
Open the material you want, then press Listen for the whole page—or select “Choose where to start” and tap a particular verse or paragraph. Click-to-jump remains on, so you can tap another place at any time and the reader will immediately continue from there.
Use the Language menu to translate the visible page. Then open Listen and choose a voice marked for that language so you can hear the words while reading along.
Press Listen, then pause, resume, or stop. Turn on “Continue on the next page” to carry the reader with you as you follow links.
