Eber’s year 1723 plus 34 years places Peleg’s birth in year 1757. Genesis connects the division of the earth with Peleg’s days, not specifically with his birth year.

To Eber were born two children, the name of one was Peleg, for in his days the sons of men were divided. Jasher later describes the building of the tower, the confusion of language, and the scattering of its builders.
