Rehoboam dies; Abijam reigns

Abijam, also called Abijah in Chronicles, succeeds Rehoboam in Judah; Scripture counts his reign as three years.

King James Version

1 Kings 14:31; 15:1–2

And Rehoboam slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David. And Abijam his son reigned in his stead. Now in the eighteenth year of king Jeroboam the son of Nebat reigned Abijam over Judah. Three years reigned he in Jerusalem.
