Jehoiachin is carried to Babylon

The Jerusalem Chronicle dates Jehoiachin’s capture to Addaru (Adar) in 597 BC. Because Adar falls after Tishri and before the next Nisan, the event is Nisan year 879 and Creation year 3326. This begins the inclusive captivity count used later in Jeremiah 52.

King James Version

2 Kings 24:12, 15

And Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his officers: and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign. And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon.
